Server appeal

We got it wrong? Tell us.

If your community is on the flagged list and shouldn't be — or shouldn't be any more — this is the route back. A person reads every appeal. If we're wrong, we clear the listing and say so publicly.

The listing
It's on the listing, on the flagged communities page.
Your case

We re-review on evidence, not assurances. The most persuasive appeals say what specifically changed, when, and how we can verify it.

How we reach you

We'll write back either way. We won't tell you who reported your server — that holds whatever the outcome.

What helps

Specifics, with dates

  • What changed and when — staff removed, a channel deleted, rules enforced.
  • Anything we can check — an audit log, a public announcement, a moderation policy.
  • Telling us the listing is factually wrong — wrong server ID, mistaken identity. We do make those mistakes.

What doesn't

Assurances on their own

  • "It wasn't us" with nothing behind it. We listed it from evidence; we un-list it the same way.
  • Demanding to know who reported you. We never disclose that.
  • Filing repeatedly without new information. One considered appeal beats five.

If it's upheld

Cleared, publicly

  • The listing is marked cleared with our reason, visible to anyone who looks it up.
  • It stays on record. History is permanent here — the same rule that applies to a user's reversed ban.
  • If members were banned in a sweep, they each appeal their own case; clearing the listing doesn't do it for them.
